Ti Tree Pathway Lighting in Australia
Client: City of Casey
Product: AE3C Series
Description: 55W stand-along solar lights, 10W LED light heads
Overview:
Ti Tree pathway is a highly used pathway by walkers, joggers and cyclists. It is 1.3km long and surrounded by a dense population of one of the newer suburbs of Berwick Spring.
The council’s objective was to extend access hours to the pathway and provide a safe environment for the community without impact on the power grid.
Requirement:
The solar LED street lighting solution should be eco-friendly and powerful so that they can work for a long time with zero carbon emission.
Solution:
A total of 41 stand-alone smart solar street lights were installed along the track to provide uniform, well-illuminated lighting. And all lights are wirelessly linked together with Leadsun EDGE. The 4G based control system enables lighting control flexibility for night and morning users, and it automatically dims lights to 30% during inactivity.
The LED street lighting systems were easy to be installed with no in-ground cabling required. The installation process was extremely fast and was non-disruptive to both the environment and the local community who continued to use the pathway while the installation was underway.
